Private Equity Debt Finance Associate — New York

Top-tier New York office seeks a mid-level associate to join a busy debt finance team focused on private equity-backed transactions. The role centers on financing work for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and corporate growth, acting for private equity sponsors, banks and private credit lenders.

Daily responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements and collateral documentation, and working closely with deal teams across practices. The team emphasizes collaboration, transactional exposure and professional development in a high-volume environment.

• Relevant mid-level associate experience in leveraged finance, including work on term and revolving facilities for LBOs and acquisition financings
• Experience drafting and negotiating commitment letters, credit agreements and security/collateral documents
• Background representing private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders
• Strong academic record and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
