Seeking a lateral partner to join a busy private equity practice in the firm's Houston office. The role will lead and originate PE and PE-backed M&A transactions, advising sponsors and portfolio companies across buyouts, exits and growth financings.

This is a hands-on leadership position: you will manage deal teams, develop client relationships and work closely with other corporate and finance specialists across the firm. The team advises on complex transactional matters for sophisticated U.S. and cross-border clients.

Applicants should be commercially focused, experienced in managing sizable transactions and capable of bringing or growing a portable practice in private equity.

Established partner with a track record in private equity and PE-backed M&A
Proven ability to originate and lead transactions and manage deal teams
Portable client relationships / book of business appropriate for a partner hire
Strong commercial judgment, excellent drafting and negotiation skills
U.S. bar admission or eligibility to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
