The role focuses on sophisticated estate planning and trust & estate administration for high-net-worth individuals and families, working on complex, multijurisdictional matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
The team advises on income and transfer tax considerations and structures tailored wealth-transfer solutions involving business interests, real estate and advanced estate planning techniques. Strong opportunities to work across a national platform with experienced practitioners.
- Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in estate planning, trusts and estate administration.
- Experience drafting Wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, trust modifications (decantings, mergers), and documents transferring business interests and real estate.
- Excellent research, drafting and verbal communication skills; strong academic credentials.
- Texas Bar admissions: currently in good standing or eligible for admission to the Texas Bar.
- LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning strongly preferred but not required with equivalent practical trusts & estates experience.
