Apply in confidence →Senior associate opportunity in a national financial services team handling project finance matters, with particular emphasis on renewable energy and related infrastructure transactions. The role involves end-to-end deal work on project financings, tax-equity bridge loans, backleveraging and pre‑NTP financings for both lender and borrower clients.
Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating credit agreements, letters of credit, performance and payment bonds, NY‑law security documents, consents to collateral assignments, and legal opinions. The role also requires conducting bankability reviews and negotiating project contracts such as EPC, balance‑of‑plant, supply and offtake/tolling agreements, and managing related diligence and security arrangements.
This is a multi‑office position with placement flexibility across several U.S. offices. The team emphasizes collaborative, client‑facing work and offers opportunities for professional growth within a broad platform.
- 4–6 years of project finance experience (lender or borrower side).
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating project finance credit facilities, NY‑law security documents, consents to collateral assignment, and legal opinions.
- Experience with project documentation: EPC contracts, offtake/tolling agreements, supply agreements (modules, BESS, turbines, inverters, transformers), and bankability analysis.
- Ability to run due diligence on project documents and independently manage security and closing processes.
- Strong academic credentials and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Licensed or willing to become licensed to practice in one of the relevant U.S. jurisdictions (New York, Florida, Texas, or Washington, D.C.).
