A specialist property disputes associate role in a market-leading disputes team based in Sydney. The team acts for large landlords, property managers, funds and developers on a wide range of commercial and retail leasing disputes, insolvency-related property matters and litigation in state and federal courts and tribunals.

The role involves managing complex, multifaceted disputes with a focus on leasing and property litigation, advising on enforcement and termination issues, preparing evidence and pleadings, and participating in mediations and other ADR processes. You'll work with senior lawyers while being given autonomy on matters appropriate to your experience.

This is an opportunity to develop a specialisation in property disputes within a supportive, collaborative practice that services major corporate and institutional clients.

At least 4 years post-admission experience (4–5 years PAE preferred) in property or commercial disputes
Experience in court and tribunal appearance work and conducting litigation
Strong drafting skills for pleadings and evidence, and solid legal research and analytical ability
Excellent client-facing, communication and time-management skills; ability to mentor junior lawyers
