Top-tier international law firm is seeking a mid- to senior-level Real Estate Associate to join its U.S. real estate team. The role is open to candidates in the firm’s Boston or New York offices and involves sophisticated transactional work across acquisition, development, financing, ownership, leasing and operations.

The practice represents a broad range of real estate industry participants on matters including portfolio transactions, REITs and real estate funds, equity joint ventures, and construction and permanent financings. The team works on transactions across all principal asset types (residential, industrial, office, retail, hospitality and land).

The role offers substantial client-facing responsibility, collaboration on domestic and cross-border matters, and opportunities for professional development through formal mentoring and advancement programs.

4–6+ years of law firm real estate experience (acquisitions/dispositions, financings, joint ventures).
Experience with portfolio transactions, REITs, real estate funds, and entity/structure work preferred.
Familiarity with construction and permanent financing matters for lenders and borrowers.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage increasing responsibility on client matters.
Admission to the New York bar or eligibility to waive in.
Excellent academic credentials.
