The role centers on lender-side financing matters supporting affordable housing, community development, tax-credit financings, tax-exempt bond financings, and related public-private projects.
You'll work on sophisticated construction and permanent loan transactions, assist with financing document negotiation and closings, conduct customary real estate and finance due diligence (including title and survey review), and coordinate among lenders, developers, public agencies, and other stakeholders.
The position offers meaningful client exposure, collaborative team support across offices, and opportunities to develop specialized expertise in affordable housing and public finance transactions.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice in Washington State
- Minimum 2+ years of real estate transactional experience
- Experience on commercial real estate financings (lender, borrower, or developer representation)
- Experience or interest in affordable housing finance, LIHTC, and tax-exempt bond or public-private financing
- Familiarity with title/survey review, loan closings, and financing documentation
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively
