Regulatory Disputes Associate — Technology, London

We are seeking an Associate to join a well-regarded regulatory disputes team in London advising on the regulation of technology products. The role focuses on product regulatory risk for hardware and software (including AI), supporting product launches, developing compliance frameworks, and responding to regulatory investigations and enforcement matters.

The team works across regulatory lifecycle issues — horizon-scanning, interpretation of new and evolving laws, compliance programme design, regulator engagement, and where necessary, representation in contentious proceedings. The successful candidate will be comfortable providing clear, commercially focused advice under time pressure and supporting international matters.

This is a collaborative team with strong emphasis on mentorship, early client exposure and structured career development. The firm offers formal training, regular feedback and opportunities to take responsibility on client matters.

• Qualified solicitor/advocate in the relevant jurisdiction with regulatory experience (technology/product focus preferred).
• Demonstrable experience advising on product regulatory frameworks for hardware and software, including emerging tech such as AI.
• Strong analytical and drafting skills, confident client handling and the ability to provide pragmatic commercial advice.
• Experience of interacting with regulators, developing compliance programmes and supporting contentious regulatory matters; comfortable working on cross-border matters.
