Apply in confidence →A national US law firm is seeking a Renewable Energy Tax Credit Associate to join its Tax team and support the Energy & Natural Resources practice. The role is open across multiple US offices (including a virtual office option) and focuses on federal and state renewable energy tax credit work and related real estate incentives.
The associate will advise developers and project stakeholders, draft and negotiate tax credit transfer agreements, and support financings and M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector. The team seeks someone who can manage multiple matters, exercise strong judgment, and communicate practical legal strategies to clients and colleagues.

- 4–6 years of post-qualification experience in tax law with substantive renewable energy tax credit exposure
- Experience with tax credit transfer agreements, project financings, and M&A-related tax issues
- Strong academic credentials and demonstrated ability to work under pressure on multiple matters
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Active bar license in the state of the hiring office or willingness to obtain one promptly
