Restructuring & Insolvency Associate — Bankruptcy & Restructuring

Join a busy UK restructuring and insolvency team with opportunities to be based in either the London or Bristol office. The practice handles complex domestic and cross‑border restructurings, insolvencies and special situations for a broad range of stakeholders, including debtors, lenders, sponsors, distressed investors and insolvency practitioners.

The role offers exposure to a mix of advisory, transactional and contentious matters, working on time‑critical and high‑profile instructions across sectors such as retail, financial services, energy and real estate. The team is collaborative and supportive, with close links to restructuring accountants and an international office network.

• Qualified solicitor or equivalent with demonstrable experience in restructuring, insolvency or special situations
• Experience across non‑contentious and/or contentious insolvency work; contentious experience welcomed but not essential
• Comfortable with financing and security documentation, and with court processes where relevant
• Strong commercial judgement, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven teamwork and organisational ability
