Experienced maritime litigation lawyer sought to join a market-leading cargo/recovery team. The role is open across multiple UK offices and involves managing complex, cross-border cargo, transportation and marine recovery matters for insurers, carriers, freight forwarders and logistics providers.

Work covers cargo damage and loss, CMR road transit recoveries, transportation liability, freight/demurrage/hire disputes and related recovery and subrogation actions. You will run matters from inception to resolution across litigation, arbitration and ADR, and contribute to business development within the practice.

Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with strong post‑qualification experience in marine/cargo recovery or insurance litigation
Proven experience handling cargo, transportation liability and subrogation matters, including cross‑border claims
Comfortable running litigation, arbitration and ADR processes and drafting pleadings and witness evidence
Strong client management, commercial judgement and negotiation skills; experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
