Top-tier restructuring team in New York is seeking a finance associate to join its Business Restructuring & Reorganization group. The role focuses on financings and liability-management work in both chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

Successful candidates will have significant experience representing creditors or borrowers on liability-management transactions, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings, bankruptcy exit financings and special-situations financings. Associates will work on top-of-capital-structure matters for hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds and other financial institutions.

Graduating law school class years 2019–2023 (JD or equivalent)
Significant transactional experience on creditor- or borrower-side restructurings, including liability-management and special-situations financings
Experience with DIP financings and bankruptcy exit financings
Comfort working with hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds and other financial institutions on chapter 11 and out-of-court matters
