National firm seeking a mid-level associate for its Financial Restructuring team in New York. The role involves advising on complex in-court and out-of-court restructurings and workouts for lenders and corporate debtors across a range of industries.

Responsibilities include negotiating and drafting loan and workout documents, exercising remedies, and preparing core Chapter 11 filings and related pleadings (plans of reorganization, restructuring support agreements, first-day motions, etc.). The position offers hands-on experience on sophisticated restructurings for institutional and private-credit clients and large public and private companies.

Strong academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters are required. Candidates must be admitted to the New York Bar.

Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in restructuring/bankruptcy practice
Substantive experience with Chapter 11 cases, out-of-court restructurings and workouts
Experience negotiating and drafting loan documents, restructuring support agreements, plans of reorganization, first-day motions and related pleadings
Excellent organization, analytical, writing and verbal skills
Admission to the New York Bar
