Leading restructuring team seeks a finance associate to join its Los Angeles office on matters involving distressed and special-situations financings. The role focuses on liability-management transactions, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings, bankruptcy exit financings and out-of-court restructurings.

Associates will work on top-of-capital-structure matters for financial institutions, including hedge funds, CLOs and private equity clients, within chapter 11 cases and related workouts. The team handles high-profile, complex restructurings and offers significant exposure to creditor- and borrower-side financings.

Law school graduating classes 2019–2023 (targeted)
Experience representing creditors or borrowers on liability-management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings and/or special-situations financings
Familiarity with chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings
Experience working with hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds or other financial institutions preferred
