The group advises a full range of stakeholders in complex in-court and out-of-court restructurings, distressed financings, liability management, and strategic distressed M&A, frequently on matters with cross‑jurisdictional components.
The firm particularly values candidates coming from judicial clerkships and is accepting applications for associates starting after clerkship service. Associates who complete a qualifying clerkship may receive progression credit and a clerkship bonus.
This role offers exposure to high‑profile, market-leading restructuring matters and close collaboration with other practice groups (tax, M&A, private equity, capital markets, debt finance and industry teams).
- Minimum of 1 year post‑graduate legal experience (as stated).
- Judicial clerkship experience strongly encouraged; clerkship credit and bonus for qualifying service.
- Demonstrable interest and/or experience in restructuring/insolvency law.
- Excellent legal research, drafting and analytical skills; ability to work collaboratively on complex, multi‑party matters.
