Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Associate — San Francisco

Top-tier law firm in San Francisco seeks an associate to join a market-leading Business Restructuring & Reorganization team. The role focuses on restructuring-driven finance work across in-court and out-of-court matters.

Successful candidates will have experience on liability-management transactions, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings, bankruptcy exit financings and other special-situations financings. Work will include representations of hedge funds, CLOs, private equity investors and other financial institutions in chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

• Juris Doctor (class years 2019–2023 preferred)
• Significant experience representing creditors or borrowers on liability-management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings or special-situations financings
• Familiarity with chapter 11 procedures and out-of-court restructurings
• Strong drafting, analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively on high‑profile financings
