Apply in confidence →Join a national firm’s Risk & Compliance team as a qualified risk lawyer. This hybrid role is open across several UK offices and can be considered on a full- or part-time basis. You will support firm-wide risk, regulatory and governance matters and work closely with HR and other internal stakeholders.
Day-to-day responsibilities include advising on partnership governance and onboarding matters, reviewing client engagement terms, supplier agreements and panel documentation, conducting policy reviews, and supporting operational and strategic risk initiatives. You will also provide regulatory advice across the SRA/FCA and relevant law society regimes and engage with regulators as required.
The team combines experienced lawyers and technical specialists to manage data protection, regulatory compliance and professional conduct issues. The role suits a pragmatic, commercial adviser who can work collaboratively across offices and help develop junior colleagues.
- Qualified solicitor with 3+ years' PQE and experience in law‑firm risk, compliance or regulatory advisory work
- Practical knowledge of data protection and professional regulator requirements (e.g. SRA/FCA and relevant law societies)
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Collaborative mindset with an interest in mentoring junior team members and supporting cross‑office initiatives
