Top-tier US law firm is seeking a mid-level securities litigation attorney to join its Palo Alto litigation team. The role focuses on defending and advising clients in securities class actions, shareholder derivative matters and related corporate governance disputes.

Successful candidates will work on federal and state court matters, draft dispositive and other motions, supervise junior lawyers and collaborate with a broad base of U.S. and international clients. California bar admission is required.

The firm offers a competitive compensation package and a full suite of benefits; the position's posted annual pay range is $310,000 - $390,000.

4-6 years of litigation experience, with substantial securities litigation exposure
Proven experience with securities class actions, shareholder derivative matters and shareholder demands
Strong drafting record, especially motions to dismiss in securities matters
Federal court litigation experience required; federal clerkship a plus
Experience supervising junior associates and coordinating with legal support staff
Admission to the California bar and strong academic credentials
