Senior Associate, Catastrophic Injury (Insurance)

Senior Associate role within a nationally recognised catastrophic injury practice, open to candidates to work from London or Manchester on a hybrid basis. You will lead and manage complex, high‑value defendant-side catastrophic injury matters across motor, employers' liability and public liability streams.

The role involves owning substantial, sensitive cases (including life‑changing injuries), shaping litigation strategy, mentoring junior lawyers and delivering commercially focused advice to insurer clients. The team works on high-profile and cross‑border matters and leverages technology and process improvements to drive efficient outcomes.

• 5-10 years' post-qualification experience in catastrophic injury or serious personal injury defence work
• Proven defendant-side claims handling across motor, employers' liability and/or public liability
• Solid understanding of Ogden tables and future losses
• Strong written and oral advocacy and client management skills; experience supervising junior fee-earners
