Senior Associate, Competition Disputes — London

Senior-associate role within a market-leading competition, regulation and trade group based in London. The team handles the full spectrum of contentious competition work, with particular emphasis on private enforcement, follow-on and standalone damages claims and collective actions before the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

The role will focus on managing and progressing complex competition litigation matters across multiple jurisdictions, including defence of claims in the High Court and CAT and coordinating multi-jurisdictional responses. You will work closely with senior lawyers on strategy and client-facing delivery.

There is scope to lead discrete pieces of work, supervise junior fee-earners and contribute to business development and practice initiatives.

• Qualified solicitor with approximately 6–8 years post-qualification experience in competition/antitrust disputes.
• Hands-on experience of competition litigation (High Court and/or Competition Appeal Tribunal); experience of collective actions in the CAT is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage cases and supervise junior lawyers; strong drafting, advocacy support and project-management skills.
• Excellent academic record (2:1 degree or equivalent) and strong interpersonal and client-management skills.
