Senior Associate — Construction (Non-Contentious)

Join a well-regarded UK construction practice as a Senior Associate with a primary focus on non-contentious matters. You will work on high-value regional and national projects across sectors such as energy & infrastructure, health, education and commercial development, advising clients across the construction supply chain on procurement, contracts and project documentation.

The role is office-flexible across Bristol, Exeter or Cheltenham with regular collaboration across other offices including London. You will be supported by an experienced team and will handle varied, fast-paced files that require commercial judgment and close client contact.

There are opportunities to develop commercially, contribute to business development, and to take on some contentious work where suitable. The team offers agile working arrangements and a supportive environment for career progression.

• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in Construction & Engineering practice.
• Proven experience on non-contentious construction work and willingness to handle contentious matters as needed.
• Extensive drafting and negotiation experience across contract families (JCT, NEC, FIDIC) and energy/construction documentation (EPCs, O&Ms, collateral warranties, bonds, PCGs, bespoke appointments).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, commercial mindset, and ability to manage multiple high-value files.
