A busy corporate team is seeking a transactional Senior Associate for its Birmingham office (hybrid working). The role offers ownership of a varied corporate caseload — including M&A, private equity and joint ventures — and the chance to lead and mentor more junior lawyers.

The team advises on mid-market and higher-value transactions and provides strong technical support, training and deal precedent resources. This position is well suited to an ambitious lawyer who wants visible client-facing responsibility and a clear path to senior promotion, including partnership potential.

Minimum c.5 years' PQE in corporate practice
Demonstrable experience on M&A and related corporate transactional work
Proven ability to manage transactions and supervise junior team members
Commercial judgement, negotiation skills and a client-focused approach
