Senior Associate, Corporate — Melbourne

Senior Associate opportunity within a national corporate team in Melbourne. The role focuses on M&A and high-value transactional work, advising on corporate governance and related corporate matters across a range of sectors.

The successful candidate will join a busy deal team, be involved in lead and support roles on transactions, draft and negotiate documentation, and liaise with clients and external advisers. There is scope for career progression and increased client responsibility.

• Substantial transactional/M&A experience at senior associate level
• Strong commercial drafting and negotiation skills
• Sound knowledge of corporate governance and transactional documentation
• Admission to practice in Australia (or eligible) and ability to work in Melbourne
• Client-facing experience, strong project management and mentoring skills
