Senior Associate opportunity within an established Court of Protection (CoP) team advising on deputyships, personal injury trusts and related welfare matters. The team handles complex, high-value matters and works closely with families, case managers and litigation colleagues to manage long-term financial and care arrangements for vulnerable clients.

The role will involve running a caseload of Property & Affairs deputyships and Personal Injury Trusts, preparing applications to the Court of Protection, producing OPG reports, and supervising/mentoring junior staff. The team offers a collaborative environment with scope for technical development and involvement in business development activity.

Qualified solicitor with 5–8 years PQE in Court of Protection work
Proven experience running complex deputyship and trust matters, including compliance with OPG deputyship standards
Experience acting for brain-injured and other vulnerable clients and working with families and multi-disciplinary teams
Strong drafting, case-management and communication skills; confident with MS Office and legal systems
Degree or equivalent; ability to supervise junior staff and contribute to team BD and development
