Apply in confidence →National insurance practice seeking a Senior Associate to join a specialist cyber and data‑breach team. The role sits across Sydney or Melbourne with hybrid working and exposure to large-scale cyber incidents, insurer instructions and cross‑disciplinary technical advisers.
You will manage cyber incident response matters from triage to resolution, advise on regulatory and notification obligations, act as a day‑to‑day contact for clients and insurers, and handle coverage and dispute issues arising from incidents.

- Tertiary law degree and current practising certificate in the relevant Australian jurisdiction.
- At least 4 years post‑admission experience in cyber, financial‑lines or commercial litigation — insurance experience highly regarded.
- Experience managing cyber incident response, advising on privacy/data‑breach notification and insurer coverage issues.
- Strong legal drafting, file management, stakeholder coordination and client‑service skills; ability to run matters day‑to‑day and prepare briefs for counsel where required.
