Join a nationally recognised Australian practice as a Senior Associate within a Digital Economy team advising corporate and government clients on technology, digital commerce and emerging technology matters. The role is client-facing and covers technology transactions, cloud and as-a-service arrangements, outsourcing and managed services, plus emerging areas such as AI.

You will provide strategic commercial and regulatory advice on privacy, data protection, IP commercialisation, cyber incident response and complex commercial contracts. The position involves leading matter workstreams, mentoring junior lawyers, collaborating across the corporate group and contributing to business development and innovative legal service delivery.

Tertiary law qualification and current practising certificate in the relevant Australian jurisdiction
Minimum 5 years post-admission experience in front‑end technology/transactional work
Proven experience in technology transactions (outsourcing, cloud/SaaS), privacy/data protection and commercial contracting
Strong drafting, negotiation and client-facing skills; ability to manage files and meet deadlines
Experience mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to business development
