Senior Associate — Government & Public, Melbourne

Senior Associate opportunity within a large, well-regarded Government, Public & Regulatory team in Melbourne. The role involves advising Commonwealth and Victorian government clients on administrative, regulatory and constitutional matters across a varied and high‑profile practice.

Work will include merits and judicial review matters and regular advocacy in federal and state tribunals and courts. The team offers exposure to sensitive, strategic matters and a supportive environment with mentoring and development tailored to individual career goals.

• Minimum 4 years post‑admission experience in litigation, with demonstrated interest or experience in administrative/public law (merits and judicial review).
• Advocacy experience in tribunals and courts (Administrative Review Tribunal, VCAT, Federal or Victorian courts) is highly desirable; candidates with a strong interest in developing advocacy skills will be considered.
• Strong drafting, research and written advocacy skills, and the ability to manage high‑profile, time‑sensitive matters.
• Right to practise in Australia and ability to pass pre‑employment screening.
