Apply in confidence →Senior role within a disputes team at a leading international law firm’s Düsseldorf office, focusing on complex commercial litigation and international arbitration. The team works across offices on national and cross-border matters and combines litigation experience with innovation and legal‑tech initiatives.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include managing contentious matters in state courts and arbitral tribunals, running mandates with a high degree of autonomy, supervising junior lawyers and contributing to firm‑wide projects (e.g. legal tech, collective redress and sector teams).

- Minimum five years’ relevant post‑qualification experience in a dynamic law firm environment.
- Proven expertise in commercial litigation and international arbitration; ability to lead cases and supervise teams.
- Very good knowledge of civil law and civil procedure; strong legal drafting and advocacy skills.
- Overall score of both Staatsexamina of at least 16 points.
- Excellent written and spoken English; readiness to work on international matters.
- Interest in digitalisation/legal tech and practical, innovative client solutions. For the Legal Director stream, demonstrable business‑development experience and an existing client/contact network are highly desirable.
