Experienced life sciences lawyer wanted to join a busy, multidisciplinary technology and innovation practice in London. The team advises a broad range of life sciences clients — from start‑ups and spin‑outs to multinational developers — on commercial, technology and regulatory matters.

The role focuses on non‑contentious work: licensing, partnering, research & development and commercialisation transactions, alongside agreements linked to clinical trials, research collaborations and funding rounds. The team works closely with funding and IP specialists and is active on business development.

This is a hands‑on role for a pragmatic lawyer who can absorb scientific detail, draft and negotiate complex agreements, and build client relationships across the life sciences and digital health ecosystem.

Typically 3–5 yearsʼ post‑qualification experience in life sciences/technology transactions.
Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial, licensing, collaboration and clinical‑research style agreements for domestic and international clients.
Comfort working with technical subject matter; scientific training (e.g. PhD or degree) desirable but not required.
Strong commercial judgment, excellent written and interpersonal skills, and proven ability to manage a varied workload independently.
Motivated for business development and comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams.
