Leading specialist media & entertainment practice is seeking a Senior Associate with strong music-law experience to join its London team. The role covers a broad music docket including recording, publishing, distribution, production and artist agreements, plus content licensing for digital platforms and exploitation of music rights across film, TV, games and theatre.

The team advises labels, publishers, artists, songwriters, producers and digital platforms. This is a collegiate, development-focused environment where the successful candidate will work closely with partners across the firm, contribute to practice development and handle both advisory and transactional matters.

5–7 years PQE in music or media law (transactional and advisory experience)
Proven drafting and negotiating skills on recording, publishing, licensing and commercial agreements
Deep understanding of the contemporary music industry and digital rights exploitation
Commercial, pragmatic approach and ability to work collaboratively across departments; candidates with relevant in-house experience welcome
