Senior associate role within a projects-focused team advising on large-scale energy and infrastructure developments across Australia and the wider APAC region. The team covers all stages of project lifecycle, including development, construction, financing and operation, and acts for a mix of government, sponsor and financial stakeholders.

The role involves drafting, negotiating and managing project documents such as construction, procurement and offtake agreements, supporting transactional and regulatory workstreams, and coordinating across cross-border teams. You will work closely with senior lawyers on both domestic and offshore matters and may supervise more junior lawyers on transactions.

  • Australian qualification and admission
  • PQE 4–7 years' experience in major projects, energy or infrastructure (renewables, power or transport preferred)
  • Experience advising consortiums, financiers, equity investors or contractors on project development and tender processes
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, time-management and client-facing skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
