The Dallas office of a large international law firm is seeking a Senior Real Estate Associate to join its commercial real estate team. The role focuses on complex commercial real estate development matters, acquisitions and dispositions, financings (representing both borrowers and lenders) and commercial leasing (landlord and tenant representation).

The team advises across property types including office, retail, industrial, multi-family, health-care and hospitality and handles transactions from drafting and negotiation through closing. The position will involve supervising junior associates and working closely with clients on substantive transactional matters.

7+ years of real estate transactional experience (development, acquisitions/dispositions, financing and leasing)
Admission to a US state bar and in good standing; admission in the state of the Dallas office expected if not already admitted
JD from an accredited law school and strong academic credentials
Proven experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, easements and development-related documents
Experience closing acquisition, sale and financing transactions and addressing title insurance issues
Experience supervising junior associates, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage priorities and work independently
