Senior Associate / Solicitor — Corporate Tax, Sydney

Leading international law firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Solicitor or Senior Associate to join its Band 1 corporate team in Sydney. The role sits in a national tax practice and involves advising on corporate and transaction‑focused tax matters for domestic and international clients.

Work will cover tax advice on M&A, restructures, funds and other commercial transactions, liaising with tax teams across practice groups and jurisdictions. The position is advisory only and does not include compliance work.

• Minimum 4 years' post‑qualification experience in corporate/transactional tax (private practice, Big Four or in‑house).
• Unrestricted Australian or New Zealand practising certificate.
• Strong academic record; Masters in Taxation (completed or in progress) preferred.
• Experience advising on M&A, restructures, funds or international tax; ability to work to tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Demonstrated team focus, willingness to supervise/mentor junior lawyers and a client‑service mindset; interest in emerging technologies such as AI an advantage.
