Senior Associate role within a high‑performing Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) group based in Melbourne. The team advises Australian and multinational clients on complex privacy, cyber security, digital regulation and technology matters, including frequent cross‑border work across the APAC region.

The role combines advisory and incident‑response work — including breach response and regulatory investigations — with support for transactions, digital transformation and compliance program uplift projects. You will work closely with senior lawyers across the firm to deliver strategic, commercial and practical advice in a fast‑moving regulatory and risk environment.

The position offers opportunities to manage matters and budgets, supervise junior lawyers, contribute to practice growth and participate in business development initiatives within a collaborative, inclusive team.

Qualified to practise in Australia with approximately 6–8 years post‑qualification experience
Demonstrable experience in privacy, data protection and information security
Practical experience handling cyber incident response and familiarity with cyber insurance and related regulatory processes
Strong knowledge of Australian privacy and digital regulation; experience on cross‑border/regional matters highly regarded
Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills and ability to manage multiple complex matters under tight timeframes
Proven ability to supervise junior lawyers and contribute to business development
