Senior-level associate role in a global law firm's Chicago office focused on US trade law, including export controls, sanctions, customs, supply-chain and national-security related matters. The team advises on regulatory counseling, compliance program reviews, cross-border transactional risk assessments and enforcement matters.

The role involves managing workstreams, supporting client relationships, and collaborating with cross-practice and multi-jurisdictional teams. The position is in-person and candidates should be proactive, able to work independently, and comfortable using technology and AI tools to enhance delivery.

Minimum 6 years post-qualification experience in US trade law (export controls, sanctions, customs)
Experience advising on compliance programs, cross-border transactional reviews and enforcement investigations

Admission to the Illinois Bar or eligibility to waive in
