Senior Counsel, Insurance Coverage — Los Angeles

Senior-level litigation counsel role in a global insurance practice, based in the Los Angeles office. The position focuses on representation of insurers in complex commercial litigation and insurance-coverage matters, including coverage disputes, bad-faith actions, and defense of consumer/class claims.

The role requires independent case ownership and day-to-day client interaction, including advising senior insurer executives. You will develop litigation strategy, manage discovery and depositions, draft motions and briefs, and supervise junior lawyers and support staff across pretrial and trial phases.

• Admission to practice in California.
• 10+ years of insurance coverage litigation experience, with substantial work on commercial general liability and related coverage disputes.
• Experience in state and federal court; strong motion practice and trial-readiness experience preferred.
• Excellent legal research, drafting and analytical skills; proven ability to manage and mentor associates and paralegals.
