Experienced construction lawyer sought to join a national practice advising on non-contentious construction and related real estate, development and project contracts. The role involves advising on a mix of development and infrastructure projects, property and corporate elements, process plant documentation and project finance-related matters.

The team handles major UK construction and regeneration programmes and offers both non-contentious and contentious capability; there is scope for candidates who wish to work across both areas. You will work closely with senior lawyers and may be asked to mentor more junior members of the national team.

Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with substantial non-contentious construction experience.
Demonstrable expertise in standard forms of contract (JCT, NEC) and development agreements; experience with process plant and related documentation desirable.
Experience advising on employer/developer-side matters preferred; contractor/supply-side experience also valued.
Ability to manage client relationships, lead transactions and mentor junior fee-earners; flexible on handling some contentious work if desired.
