Solicitor / Associate — Regulatory (SHE)

National Regulatory Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) team seeking an experienced solicitor or associate to join a busy practice advising organisations and individuals on regulatory criminal investigations, prosecutions and related compliance work. The role covers health & safety, environmental breaches, fire and food/product safety, inquests and public inquiries, and provides regular client-facing responsibility.

The team works cross‑practice on high‑profile and complex matters and supports fee‑earners in developing client relationships and business development activity. The role is open across multiple UK locations with particular focus on London, the Midlands and the South West.

• Minimum 5 years' PQE in regulatory/criminal or commercially focused practice (private practice or in‑house).
• Experience handling regulatory investigations and prosecutions (HSE/Police/other regulators), witness interviews, interviews under caution, sentencing hearings and inquests.
• Knowledge of environmental, product, trading standards, food or fire safety issues advantageous.
• Demonstrable business development experience and ability to build client relationships; willingness to travel at short notice.
