Join a market-leading criminal motor defence team handling serious and fatal road traffic offences for professional and individual drivers. The role involves court representation, police-station work, inquest attendance and day-to-day management of a varied caseload under established client protocols.

Typical duties include analysing evidence, advising clients under investigation or prosecution, conducting interviews, briefing counsel, drafting witness statements, reporting to insurers, and managing billing and file-level finances. The post requires regular liaison with clients and adherence to productivity, fee-income and quality KPIs.

Solicitor or CILEX-qualified with a minimum of 3 years' criminal litigation experience.
Police-station accreditation and experience representing drivers in road traffic matters preferred.
Comfort dealing sensitively with clients involved in serious or fatal collisions; inquest experience desirable.
Proven ability to manage own caseload, meet productivity and fee-income targets, and follow client protocols.
Strong communication skills, proactive mindset and a collegiate approach to working across teams.
Full driving licence and willingness to travel and work out of hours when required.
