Join a well-established Government & Public law team in Bristol as a commercial solicitor handling complex public sector contracting and infrastructure matters. The role offers exposure to high-profile outsourcing, PPP/PFI and regeneration projects and collaborative work across projects, real estate, construction and disputes teams.

You will advise public and private sector clients on commercial contracts, procurement strategy and long-term partnering arrangements throughout their lifecycle, while providing pragmatic, risk-based and commercially focused advice. There are strong opportunities for client contact, business development and thought leadership.

2–6 years' PQE in commercial, projects, public sector or infrastructure practice
Proven experience drafting, negotiating and advising on complex commercial contracts
Experience of or strong interest in developing expertise in public sector contracting and UK public procurement law
Experience with outsourcing/managed services, technology contracts, infrastructure or PFI/PPP arrangements desirable
Pragmatic, commercially focused approach and strong relationship-management and communication skills
Comfort working on multidisciplinary projects with colleagues across procurement, real estate, construction, projects, finance and disputes
Strong academic background and appetite for responsibility and practice development
