Apply in confidence →Join a national claims team within a specialist insurance and corporate defence practice, working on data breach and cyber-related claims. The role covers pre‑litigation and litigated matters, from individual data subject issues to multi‑claimant incidents arising from cyber events.
You will manage your own caseload, assist the team on larger matters, and provide commercially aware advice to insurer and corporate clients. The position offers hands‑on litigation experience including investigations, disclosure of sensitive material, drafting court documents and attending conferences, hearings and trials.
Structured training and support will be provided; the team encourages development and offers increasing responsibility for candidates who demonstrate aptitude.
- Qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive eligible to practise in England & Wales.
- Litigation experience with civil claims; experience of data protection / GDPR and data breach matters advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload, investigate incidents and prepare defences through to trial where required.
- Experience drafting court documents, supervising disclosure of sensitive documents and conducting hearings/trials.
- Strong file management, client communication and commercial judgment.
- Willingness to contribute to team development, business development and meet internal chargeable time expectations.
