Apply in confidence →Join a well-established national practice as an Education Solicitor within a Public Law & Human Rights team. You will run your own caseload, provide specialist advice on education law (with a focus on SEND Tribunal work) and supervise junior colleagues while contributing to the team’s reputation for high‑quality client work.
The role offers a varied mix of publicly and privately funded matters, including tribunal appeals, exclusions, admissions, disability discrimination and education‑related judicial reviews. You will also support schools and colleges on safeguarding and provide SEN strategy input such as EHCP reviews.

- Qualified Solicitor with approximately 2–8 years PQE
- Proven experience in education law, ideally including SEND Tribunal appeals
- Ability to manage a complex, varied caseload with minimal supervision
- Experience or willingness to supervise and mentor junior fee-earners
- Strong written and oral communication skills; comfortable delivering training and contributing to written thought leadership
- Proactive approach to business development and relationship building
