This role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners on a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters, advising clients across multiple sectors on workforce strategy, organisational change, enterprise bargaining, and industrial disputes.
Key responsibilities include providing strategic advice and representation in high-profile litigation before federal and state courts, supporting major corporate transactions and projects, and delivering practical compliance advice on employment, anti-discrimination, and payroll obligations. The role also involves managing regulator interactions and representing clients in Fair Work Commission matters and other tribunals.
The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in Australia or New Zealand, with prior experience in employment law and industrial relations from a leading private practice, government, or in-house environment. Strong communication skills, excellent academic results, and a commitment to continuous learning are essential.
