Solicitor/Senior Associate, Corporate M&A

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor or Senior Associate to join our award-winning Corporate M&A team in Melbourne. You will work on some of the highest-profile deals in Australia, collaborating with leading partners and a national corporate practice.

In this role, you will advise on all aspects of corporate transactions, including public and private M&A, takeovers, disposals, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, and shareholder arrangements. You will draft and negotiate key transaction documents, manage external client relationships, and ensure deadlines are met by working closely with other legal teams across the firm. You will also support business development activities and mentor junior team members.

• Admission to practice as a lawyer in Australia or New Zealand
• 3-7 years' experience in a leading corporate M&A practice
• Excellent academic record and high attention to detail
• Proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of a supportive team
• Ability to work collaboratively, at times autonomously, and to tight timeframes
• Curiosity about clients and eagerness to create exceptional experiences
• Genuine passion for M&A and corporate transactions, with a desire for continuous learning
