Solicitor — Restructuring & Insolvency, Sydney

Practice group within a leading international firm’s banking team is hiring a solicitor with front‑end restructuring focus to join its Sydney restructuring & insolvency group. The team handles complex, high‑profile and cross‑border matters across the Asia‑Pacific region and offers strong exposure to market‑leading restructuring work.

The role provides hands‑on responsibility on restructuring mandates, direct contact with broader practice teams and clients, and structured training and development to build a specialist restructuring career. The team is collaborative and supportive, with opportunities to take initiative and increase responsibility over time.

• 2–4 years post‑admission (solicitor) experience.
• Experience or exposure to specialist restructuring & insolvency work in Australia or a comparable jurisdiction.
• Good working knowledge of Australian restructuring and insolvency procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, and a collaborative team approach.
• Motivation to specialise in restructuring & insolvency and progress to senior responsibility.
