Special Counsel, Casualty & Liability — Sydney

Experienced insurance litigation lawyer sought to join a well-established casualty and liability team in Sydney. The role offers responsibility for a broad mix of public and product liability, professional indemnity, property damage, catastrophic claims and general insurance litigation, with occasional exposure to marine and aviation matters.

You will manage complex, high-value matters for sophisticated insurer clients, work closely with senior counsel, and play a key role in mentoring junior lawyers. The role is permanent, full-time and operates on a hybrid basis.

• Extensive experience in liability/casualty or general insurance litigation
• Strong advocacy experience in State and Federal Courts
• Proven ability to manage complex matters autonomously
• Demonstrated interest in mentoring and developing junior lawyers
• Commercial acumen and focus on building long-term client relationships
