Special Counsel, Liability (Marine & Aviation) — Sydney

Senior insurance litigation role within a dedicated liability team, focusing on marine, aviation and general casualty matters. The role involves handling complex personal injury, public and products liability, property damage and recovery claims for domestic and London market insurers.

You will join a team of specialist counsel and associates supported by paralegals, working in a hybrid arrangement. The position suits an established litigator seeking a technical, client-facing role with opportunities to mentor junior lawyers and contribute to a busy defence practice.

• 10+ years' PQE in liability, casualty or general insurance litigation
• Proven courtroom and litigation experience in State and Federal Courts
• Ability to manage a complex caseload independently with strong organisation and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to mentor junior lawyers
