Staff Attorney, Mass Torts (Consumer Protection) — California-licensed

Seeking a Staff Attorney to join a national mass-torts practice defending manufacturers in consumer protection, warranty and product-liability matters. The role involves handling all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions practice, case evaluations, and trial preparation in state and federal courts and arbitration.

The position offers substantive autonomy on assigned matters while providing access to experienced litigators for collaboration and strategy. Flexible work arrangements (remote, part-time, or variable hours) are acceptable; occasional travel to California for hearings and proceedings is required.

• Minimum of 3 years' litigation experience in warranty defense, product liability, insurance defense, or related consumer-protection litigation.
• Licensed to practice in California and in good standing.
• Strong case-management skills with ability to manage multiple matters at varying stages with minimal supervision.
• Analytical aptitude for preparing case evaluations, damages/settlement calculations, and financial analyses.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy, negotiation skills, and experience interfacing with clients and experts.
• Familiarity with database/web-portal systems and SharePoint preferred; ability to work collaboratively across offices.
