Join a national planning and environmental practice as the Statutory Agreements Manager supporting a busy London office. The role is a specialist quality-control and team-lead position focused on highway, utilities and other infrastructure agreements (eg. highways agreements, water industry agreements, easements and related leases).

You will lead and supervise a small specialist team, checking legal accuracy and compliance of statutory agreements against current legislation and internal procedures, maintaining schedules and files, and providing technical support to fee-earners across the wider planning department.

The role combines hands-on document review and file management with people supervision and client-facing service delivery. The firm offers a full benefits package including private medical cover and pension provision.

  • Proven experience managing a team and supervising transactional casework in planning and infrastructure agreements.
  • Technical experience drafting, reviewing and checking statutory agreements (eg. s278, s38, s104, deeds of easement, substation lease forms).
  • Strong organisational skills with experience of file management and compliance with internal procedures (Lexcel or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills, client-focused, commercially aware and able to work to deadlines.
