Top-tier national law firm is seeking a Counsel in its New York finance team to work on structured finance and securitization matters. The role will sit on a team that advises originators, sponsors, trustees and lenders on repurchase and warehouse facilities, syndicated credit lines, securitizations and other secured financings.

The successful candidate will take lead responsibility for transactions from structuring through closing, including drafting, negotiating and reviewing complex documentation such as repurchase agreements, credit agreements, pooling and servicing agreements, indentures, offering materials and intercreditor arrangements. Strong knowledge of mortgage- and asset-backed financing structures, servicing and collateral issues is highly desirable.

Minimum 8 years' relevant post-qualification experience in structured finance/securitization.
Track record advising on repurchase and warehouse facilities, syndicated lines of credit and securitizations.
Ability to independently manage transactions from structuring through closing and to draft/negotiat complex financing documents.
Excellent academic credentials, strong drafting skills and effective interpersonal/team communication.
